Christian Dior window display
Precision fabricated these handbags out of 1/4″ brushed aluminum for a Christian Dior window display at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa CA.
The Giving Tree
Precision Waterjet & Laser worked with Daniel Monti, lead architect of Modal Design to design this screen, made of 4-by-4-foot panels of Cor-ten steel, which was bent and perforated by laser-cut circles in six sizes. Additionally, the resulting 3,000 steel cut-outs were converted into a decorative guardrail for the staircase. The gunmetal-gray circles were welded together in random fashion to form a thin wall which allowed the sun to cast shifting shadows that are the negative and positive images of the same circles.

Palm Court Arts Complex
Precision Waterjet & Laser was commissioned in 2010 with fabricating the new shade structure of the Palm Court Arts Complex at the newly constructed Irvine Great Park. The shade structure is comprised of over 450 panels of 3/8” thick aircraft grade aluminum, all of which were waterjet cut with various cloud inspired designs. The Palm Court Art Complex was designed to host special events, exhibitions, and performances & was designed by landscape architect Ken Smith.
